On Thursday 8 October, Avibras Aeroco welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Defence (MD) for a technical assessment visit coordinated by the Secretariat for Defence Products (SEPROD), with representatives from the Defence Logistics Systems Support Centre (CASLODE) and the Armed Forces also in attendance.
The visit aimed to verify that the conditions on which Avibras Aeroco’s accreditation as a Strategic Defence Enterprise (EED) and the classification of its products as Strategic Defence Products (PED) were based are still being met.
The delegation toured the company’s administrative, industrial and operational facilities. The technical visit provided a first-hand insight into Avibras Aeroco’s production processes, manufacturing facilities and technological capabilities.
The initiative also strengthened institutional ties with the Ministry of Defence and fostered dialogue on the company’s expertise and technological potential.
