Avibras Aeroco and the Brazilian Army meet to discuss new contracts

On Wednesday 6 May, Avibras Aeroco took part in a meeting with officers from the Brazilian Army (EB) at the Army Technology Centre (CTEx) in Rio de Janeiro, to ensure technical and strategic alignment on ongoing requirements, as well as to advance negotiations regarding future contracts.

The Director of Operations, Fábio Nakagawa, and the Commercial Director for the Brazilian and Latin American markets, Fausto F. Ferreira, reaffirmed Avibras Aeroco’s commitment to meeting the operational needs of the Brazilian Army, contributing to the development of the country’s strategic defence systems.

The meeting was attended by the current and future Director of Manufacturing (DF), Brigadier General Tales Vilella and Brigadier General Carlos Alexandre Bastos de Vasconcellos, respectively. Also present at the meeting were Brigadier General Maurício Ramos de Rezende Neves, Head of the Army Technology Centre (CTEx); Brigadier General (Ret.) Moisés da Paixão Júnior, Manager of the Field Artillery Sub-programme; representatives of the Commission for Knowledge Absorption and Technology Transfer (CACTTAV) at Avibras Aeroco; and representatives of the Army Evaluation Centre (CAEx).
