The mayor of Jacareí, Celso Florêncio, visited Avibras Aeroco’s Jacareí site on Friday 21 August to learn more about the company’s facilities, capabilities and technological and industrial potential.
Florêncio was welcomed by Avibras Aeroco’s chairman, Sami Hassuani, who outlined the company’s key capabilities and highlighted its strategic importance to Brazil’s Defence Industrial Base (BID) and the country’s sovereignty.
The visit also underscored the company’s importance for the industrial and technological development of Jacareí and the Paraíba Valley, highlighting its contribution to creating opportunities and strengthening the local economy.
Also taking part in the visit were the deputy mayor, Edgard Sasaki; the municipal secretary for Economic Development, Eliane Biondo; and the chief of staff, Roberto Abreu.
